Ryan chose to work with Bridge House (at Bridge City Community Church) for his project. There were 2 specific safety hazards that he wanted to address.
First, there was a parking lot curb area that was a trip hazard between the wheelchair ramp in the sidewalk & the parking lot. Ryan planned, built, & installed a pipe handrail just behind the curb. It was painted a high-visibility yellow color so that everyone would notice it without running into it.

The residents at Creekside Rehabilitation & Nursing have enjoyed watching birds & having birdhouses in the backyard area. But through the years, many of the birdhouses broke or were broken due to storm damage to trees. Nolan decided that he wanted to build many new birdhouses for them, each & every one being different. Then they would also be used as an art project for the residents by having them do the painting. Nolan also decided to add a new bench for the residents to have outside to be able to sit & watch the birds.
