Snow Lodge Update

Good Evening everyone
We are still on for Snow Lodge for this weekend. We have paid the money regardless of whether or not there is snow up at the lodge and there is no reimbursement from council if there is not snow.
The Good news is that it is supposed to snow Thursday and Friday. Note: We have back up plans for activities on Saturday if it actually does not snow.

Boys and adults need to ignore the weather down here and pack like they are going up in the snow. It is Mt Hood in February. Winter boots, ski pants, wool socks, gloves and hats. Layers will be key (add a layer if too cold, take off a layer if too warm).

Drivers you must have a snow permit. You will be reimbursed for the cost of a day pass for each day we are up there. You must have traction tires or chains for the trip

Patrols make sure your shoppers are buying food for everyone. We have 23 youth going and 8 adults.

We will see everyone at the church at 5:30pm. Remember a sack dinner for Friday night.

Bring snow shovels if you have them. Mark them. Youth can bring a small card game or board game for Friday night.

Adults might want ear plugs.
