Justin found this project by speaking with the District Eagle Chair. The beneficiary had reached out to the Eagle Chair for assistance in getting some bulletin boards placed near the entrances to their garden.
It turns out that Justin was already familiar with the garden property. The garden property directly boarders the park where Justin played soccer for many years when he was younger. Due to the number of times that his team sent a ball over the fence, he felt obliged to help.
The project that was requested was to build bulletin boards similar to some that are located at a nearby park. Justin viewed the sample bulletin boards then was tasked with figuring out how to replicate them.
He ended up building & installing 2 bulletin boards at the garden. Each one consists of a bulletin board on support legs with a roof covering over the top. They are anchored in the ground by cement around each support leg. Almost all of the cutting & assembly was done by Scouts with hand tools -- including the 4x6 lumber.
