Picnic Shelter for Ivor Davies Park

William's grandfather has had a Tree Farm & cut his own lumber for many years. For a long time, William had wanted to use some of his grandfather's lumber in some way as part of a Project that he could do for his Eagle Project.

William finally settled on a Picnic Shelter & started working with an architect (or engineer) to finalize a design & plan for his Shelter. Then he worked on tracking down the additional materials that would be needed (other than lumber).

Endeavor Church Playground

Brady decided that he wanted to do his Project for his Church, Endeavor Church. He noticed that the area where the Preschool kids were playing was not fenced, didn't have any toys, the yard was in poor shape, & had lots of overgrown plants around the edges of the yard.

District Award of Merit 2008 - Daydra Blackburn

Daydra Blackburn was awarded the 2008 District Award of Merit from the North Clackamas District.

Build a Foot Bridge & Create a New Access Trail

Daniel wanted to do a Project for the Chartering Organization of our Troop, Milwaukie Presbyterian Church.

The church owns all the property behind the rear parking lot that goes down toward Kellogg Lake. The church was (& still is) working to remove invasive species of plants from all of this property. A big part of the problem was the limited access to the area.

New Welcome Sign & Flower Bed Covers

This project benefited the community through the Milwaukie Museum. It provided needed improvements to the museum property that would not otherwise be possible due to a lack of funding.

The project consisted of constructing 7 new Flower Bed Covers & constructing a new carved Wood Sign for the Museum.

The Flower Bed Covers were built so they could be installed around the existing galvanized metal liners that contain the planting soil & plants. The new Museum Sign was built offsite then installed with concrete footers replacing the old sign.
