Cemetery Bumpers

.
Reuben found the parking area of the local Pioneer Cemetery was run-down & in need of help. He decided that he wanted to improve the parking area to make it much better for visitors & the neighbors.

His project involved replacing the very old, destroyed parking bumpers with new ones. The new bumpers give visual reminders of where visitors can park appropriately & safely. (This helps to keep visitors off of naighbor's property.)

El Puente Garden Benches

.
Max decided to do his Eagle Project for El Puente Elementary School. He attended El Puente when he was younger & wanted to give back to the school. It is a bilingual school & is combined with Milwaukie Elementary School.

Originally, Max wanted to clean up the garden area at the school & build some benches to add to the garden area. But due to Covid-19 restrictions, no access to the school facility was allowed. Since he wasn’t able to enter the school, he decided to make benches for the playground area instead.

HOA Trail

.
Michael found a safety project to do as his Eagle Project. The HOA Trail was made for a safer alternative for walkers over the busy roadway.

The trail consists of a gravel beginning then changes from gravel to bark chips. The reason for the material change was because of the different inclines & declines that the trail takes along the way. The trail also consists of two small bridges that never lift you from the ground. Overall, it is a lovely trail & Michael is very proud of this project.

Accessibility Ramp in Aggregate

.
Elisha wanted to do a Project for the place where he started his Scouting career. Sunnyside Foursquare Church is the Charter Organization of the Cub Scout Pack where Elisha started Scouting with Pack 293. Elisha had noticed that the church needed more wheelchair accessibility. (There was 1 ramp, but it was often blocked by vehicles.)

Feminine Hygiene Products Donation

.
Anya's Eagle project was to collect donations of feminine hygiene products to be donated to a food pantry. These products aren’t covered by SNAP or WIC and a lot of food pantries don’t offer them. Anya wanted to collect enough donations to last a food pantry three months and hoped to find a sponsor who could continue the donations after her project was completed.
